Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist MHAOD

Department of Corrective Services is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist MHAOD to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in the correctional setting.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, such as a Master of Health Administration (MHA) or a Master of Advanced Nursing (MAN).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role, preferably in a correctional setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
