About the Role

Liebherr Maritime Cargo & Construction Division are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team.

This role involves servicing and maintaining a diverse range of Cranes, including Crawler Cranes, Drilling and Piling Equipment, with occasional work on Harbour Mobile and Gantry Cranes and Offshore Cranes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Major and minor service working independently across WA with some travel throughout Australia
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting of Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical systems
  • Inspect and test electrical and instrumentation systems and components
  • Routine maintenance, repairs, and component replacements
  • Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field
  • Complete service reporting and manufacturers documentation
  • Adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace
About You
  • Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical) Diesel Fitter, Mobile Plant Technology or Automotive Electrical Technology
  • Able to work in remote locations and under adverse conditions
  • Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work over-time as required.
  • Capable of working independently in the field, problem solving in various situations.
  • Crane industry experience desirable.
  • Ability to fault find and rectify hydraulic, mechanical and electrical issues
  • A current Australian driver's license with no restrictions is a MUST.
  • Currently living in WA preferred.
