Project Management Expert

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily delivery of high-quality and on-time construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop comprehensive project programmes and communicate them effectively to the team.
  2. Ensure timely completion of construction projects from inception through to completion.
  3. Maintain strict adherence to construction programmes and deliver on project quality and programme objectives.
  4. Identify and manage construction risks across all projects, escalating issues when required.
  5. Manage project expenditure and cash flow to ensure financial sustainability.
  6. Oversee the management and achievement of external engineering design aspects of projects.
  7. Liaise with designers and stakeholders to achieve design management objectives.
  8. Supervise subcontractors on site to ensure efficient project delivery.
  9. Maintain accurate HSEQ records and manage requirements on the project.
  10. Prepare regular progress reports to stakeholders.
  11. Deliver exceptional client experiences and meet customer expectations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or similar.
  • A minimum 8 years' experience in the successful delivery of projects from start to finish with a builder/head contractor.
  • Proven leadership ability in building and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements/standards.
  • Strong project financial reporting skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and conflict resolution techniques.
