Job Role

This role involves providing compassionate care in a dementia-friendly environment, supporting residents' independence, wellbeing, and quality of life through personal care and daily living assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing hygiene support, mobility aid, and social engagement to promote residents' comfort and happiness.
  • Collaborating with the care team to implement individualised care plans that cater to each resident's unique needs.
  • Creating a warm and inclusive environment that celebrates residents' uniqueness and fosters a sense of belonging.
  • Participating in team meetings, training, and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation to ensure high standards of care and meet regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification that demonstrates expertise in aged care.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in person-centred care for older adults, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable effective collaboration with colleagues and residents.
  • Compassionate and patient approach that prioritises residents' wellbeing and promotes their physical and emotional health.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills that facilitate efficient care delivery and maintain a safe environment.
  • Current right to work in Australia and ability to obtain necessary checks, including a National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check.
