Disability Support Specialist

Inspire Disability Care is a leading NDIS provider that empowers participants with meaningful life skills, supporting people to live independently in their homes and in the community.

As a Disability Support Specialist, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with varying levels of ability and need. You will work with participants who want to make a positive difference in people's lives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualised support to enhance daily living skills and promote independence
  • Offering mental health support and promoting emotional well-being
  • Assisting with personal care activities, such as bathing and dressing
  • Engaging participants in social activities and outings to foster connections and community involvement
  • Supporting participants to achieve their personal goals, including meal preparation and other daily tasks

We are seeking individuals who are flexible and available to work on short notice or long-term permanent arrangements. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A WWVP Card
  • A Police Check (or willingness to undertake one)
  • An Australian Driver's License
  • Current First Aid & CPR qualifications
  • A Covid-19 Certificate
  • A Certificate in either disability (Cert 3/4) or Individual Support
