Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Professional to oversee the weekly payroll processing for approximately 200 staff, with a projected increase to 300 in the coming year.

This is a hands-on, full-scope role that will deliver end-to-end ownership of our complex and growing payroll function.

  • Prepare PAYG, Payroll Tax, WorkCover, Portable Redundancy Fund, Long Service Leave, and Superannuation returns and payments.
  • Interpret complex awards and EBAs.
  • Calculate and process termination payments.
  • Manage payroll-based adjustments such as back pays, WorkCover, and taxation requirements.
  • Execute a regular internal audit schedule.
  • Maintain and administer T&A and Payroll Systems.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and provide consistent employee contact.
  • Respond to employee queries accurately.

  • Effective interpretation and implementation of awards and agreements.
  • Timely calculation and processing of termination payments.
  • Strategic management of payroll-related adjustments.
  • Regular internal audits and system maintenance.
