Job Overview:

The Merchant Risk & Fraud Manager is responsible for driving acquiring pricing strategy, managing merchant risk and fraud, managing forward delivery risk, handling pricing issues, managing scheme compliance, and being the business owner for acquiring pricing and billing systems.

  • Develops and implements acquiring pricing strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Manages merchant risk and fraud by identifying and mitigating potential threats.
  • Develops and maintains policies and procedures for merchant risk and fraud management.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to provide expertise on fraud management.
  • CORE REQUIREMENTS: Strong understanding of merchant acquiring risk and fraud, exceptional stakeholder and client management skills.
  • Scheme Compliance knowledge is highly desired but not required.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills who can interpret client situations with the appropriate risk treatment and outcomes.
  • Proven discipline in prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Risk mind-set and advanced awareness of evolving scheme compliance and group risk frameworks.
  • Candidates with relevant experience in merchant fraud and/or merchant risk. Acquiring experience in products and systems will be essential.
