Job Summary

This is a permanent full-time position, working a Monday to Friday roster with a 7am start. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a large workshop team with a safety-first attitude, providing expert advice on diagnostics and customer requirements, and managing asset maintenance and servicing schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of workshop, yard, and trade assistant staff to ensure all equipment is repaired, serviced, and maintained to high standards.
  • Work closely with the Branch Manager to understand customer demands and equipment need pipelines, establishing daily workloads.
  • Provide expert advice on diagnostics and customer requirements, ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered.
  • Manage asset maintenance and servicing schedules, ensuring compliance with budget and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage onsite breakdowns and over-the-phone diagnostics, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Maintain quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Review current operations and develop business plans to support future branch growth and development.
