Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Office and Client Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling inquiries, and performing various administrative tasks such as word processing, filing, scanning, photocopying, faxing, collecting and delivering mail, and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing communications.

You will also provide support to our multi-disciplinary team as requested and assist with tasks such as travel booking, budget management, and general office maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform various administrative tasks including word processing, filing, scanning, photocopying, faxing, collecting and delivering mail, and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing communications
  • Provide support to our multi-disciplinary team as requested and assist with tasks such as travel booking, budget management, and general office maintenance
Requirements:
  • Sound knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures inclusive of values, protocols, and any other issues relevant to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
  • A sound understanding of the experiences and service needs of Stolen Generation Survivors and their descendants, with a particular focus on the Northern Territory, ACT, and Jervis Bay areas
  • Highly experienced across general administration and office management tasks
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all activities but especially in record keeping, data entry, and filing
  • Maintain high standards of discretion and show ability to handle difficult situations with tact and sensitivity and when appropriate refer to a more appropriate colleague
  • Maintain a flexible collegial and professional approach to working within a multi-disciplinary team
