Trainee Aged Care Worker

Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed as a Trainee Aged Care Worker, no prior experience or qualifications are required; training will be provided to achieve a Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021). Key requirements include a willingness to learn, reliability, and a great attitude. Additionally, a National Police Check may be required, as well as valid working rights in Australia and residency within the country. Candidates must have access to State Funding for training as a Permanent Resident or Citizen. Availability to work AM shifts, PM shifts, and attend training is essential, with a minimum of 3 days per week, Monday to Friday. The commitment includes a 24-month traineeship with fixed shifts.

What We Offer

A part-time traineeship is available, with a minimum of 15 guaranteed hours per week, up to 35 hours. On-the-job training and paid training days provide valuable opportunities for growth and development. Structured support from the Facility Leadership Team, Learning and Development Team, and a Registered Training Organisation ensures success in this role.
