Job Description

HammondCare is seeking a Part time Specialised Caregiver to join their team. This role requires providing tailored care, including personal support within the residential home.

The caregiver will help create a home away from home for residents, prioritising their needs and well-being.

Responsibilities include personal care, life engagement, supporting residents with dementia, and recognising changes in condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal care – showering, grooming, toileting etc
  • Provide life engagement
  • Support residents with levels of dementia
  • Recognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in the conditions of residents within your skills and competencies
Requirements
  • Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people & want to make a difference in their lives
  • Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including nights & weekends
  • Value teamwork but also be able to work independently and show initiative
  • Have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs
  • Applicants with Cert lll or Cert lV in Aged Care would be viewed favourably
