Airfield Operations Lead Job Overview

As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency, we are seeking a highly skilled Airfield Operations Lead to join our Aviation team. This newly created role will play a pivotal part in ensuring seamless airfield operations and promoting a strong safety culture.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of airfield operations and be able to work collaboratively with ground handlers and other ramp users to ensure efficient operations. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to interpret data and translate it into operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety Culture Promotion: Promote and maintain a strong safety culture among all airfield users
  • Operations Optimization: Work closely with the Airfield Operations Manager to optimize airfield operations and ensure seamless delivery
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that quality of reporting is high and acted upon
  • User Compliance: Regularly audit GSE parking and ensure user adherence to airfield safety and operational policies
  • Defective Equipment Removal: Lead the removal of defective Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
  • Auditing and Reporting: Conduct regular audits and provide detailed reports on ASO turnaround audits and GSE checks
