The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating complex cases, providing guidance and support to teams, and working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate complex cases involving allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation
- Provide expert advice on decision-making responsibilities for adults with impaired capacity
- Develop and implement strategies to improve investigation services
- Negotiate sensitive matters with stakeholders to achieve outcomes
- Represent the OPG at tribunals/courts as required
- Provide coaching and mentoring to Senior Investigations Officers and Investigations Officers
- Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and team members
- A C class driver's licence is mandatory
- A Certificate IV or Diploma in Government Investigations or related disciplines is desirable
- Travel throughout the State may be required, including overnight stays
- Working hours outside normal work hours may be necessary
