Job Title: Fire Service Specialist

Job Summary:
As a Fire Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in protecting people, property, and the environment in your local community. You will work from your local Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) Fire Station and be responsible for undertaking a wide range of duties, including community fire safety work, attending fires and other emergencies, and community education on fire prevention and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
• Community fire safety work
• Attending fires and other emergencies
• Community education on fire prevention and safety
• Collaboration with other emergency services

Requirements:
• Valid NSW Driver's Licence (minimum P1)
• Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
• Live and/or work within a reasonable distance of the FRNSW Fire Station

Training and Development:
Training is provided on an ongoing basis and covers all aspects of firefighting and rescue, including basic life support, rope work, power tool use, and community engagement skills.

Selection Process:
The selection process will involve a number of assessments, including an interview, physical aptitude test, and pre-employment health assessment.
