Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprenticeship Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanic. This four-year apprenticeship offers a pathway to a nationally recognised trade qualification, commencing January 2026 on a term contract, full-time basis.
During the first three years, you will receive on-the-job training; the fourth year provides practical experience. Ideal candidates will undertake a structured learning journey and attend and successfully complete a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, while being supported by qualified tradespeople.
As an apprentice heavy vehicle mechanic, you will be responsible for undertaking routine maintenance and repair tasks on heavy vehicles. You will also have the opportunity to work on various types of vehicles, including trucks, buses, and other heavy machinery.
Requirements- Must be minimum 15 years of age or older
- No longer at school or home-schooled
- Have completed year 9 or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a class C driver's licence when able to
- Applicants must be Australian citizens or be eligible to work in Australia (evidence required)
- A nationally recognised trade qualification
- On-the-job training and practical experience
- Support from qualified tradespeople
- Opportunity to work on various types of vehicles
- The selection process includes an interview, aptitude test and medical examination
