Clinical Anaesthetics Trainee

The clinical training role in Anaesthetics is designed to develop your skills and expertise in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with senior medical staff to ensure responsibilities are commensurate with your clinical experience and aligned with ANZCA guidelines.
Your RoleAs an Anaesthetics trainee, you will assist in the provision of anaesthetic services in various departments, including the Interventional Suite, Labour ward, and Radiology Department. Your key responsibilities will include participating in Preadmission Clinics, Acute Pain Service, and Clinical Emergency Response Service (CERs).
Required Skills and Qualifications- Hold a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and be registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated clinical practice as a registered medical practitioner for a minimum of two years with progress towards career goals in Anaesthetics or Critical Care
- Demonstrated a minimum of one year experience in Anaesthetics
- Demonstrated clinical competency and the ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management
