Role Overview

As a Tooling Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining LSR moulding tools to the highest standards to support high volume and precision manufacturing cells.

The primary objective of this position is to provide routine tooling repair and maintenance activities and tooling breakdown support within the production floor.

  • Repair and maintain injection moulding tools
  • Provide timely breakdown support of daily production tooling issues
  • Engage with internal production stakeholders, toolmakers, and external suppliers
  • Effectively communicate and document tasks, processes, and issues
  • Coordinate mould tool repair and maintenance with the production team to ensure weekly production schedules are supported
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of mould tool maintenance and related production processes

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Tradesperson experience in toolmaking or fitter machinist
  • Experience in plastic injection-moulding, LSR experience advantageous
  • Experience in high-volume moulding production environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
