CNC Machinist

We are seeking an accomplished CNC Machinist to join our team. As a key member of our Precision Tooling Department, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of CNC mills, EDM, and wirecutting machines.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating complex CAM programs for mould tooling and a strong understanding of CNC machining and cutter technologies. They will also possess excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to maintain accurate and detailed documentation on all assigned tasks.

In this role, you will work closely with our Projects teams to define performance specifications or functional requirements for new tooling projects. You will be expected to maintain a high level of quality and ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner and meet legislative requirements, company policies, and ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create complex CAM strategies and setup and safe operation of CNC machines and other precision machining equipment.
  • Mould/tool/equipment manufacturing, machining, finishing, assembly, and testing.
  • Support the definition of performance specifications or functional requirements for new tooling projects.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation on all assigned tasks.
Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience in creating complex CAM programs for mould tooling.
  • 5 years' CNC machining experience.
  • Broad understanding of CNC machining and cutter technologies.
