Job Summary:

Sharp & Carter is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the procurement team, you will play a critical role in managing the procurement and supply chain activities required to support a specific project through its project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase order management, freight coordination, and supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure the availability of parts and materials to support production and work closely with suppliers to minimize any disruptions and address any shortages.
  • Compile comprehensive reporting on supply chain performance, including highlighting risks, issues, and supplier performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • Experience in procurement, project management, and commercial fields in either engineering or manufacturing.
  • Contract management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to form strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
