About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising all facets of reservations, front desk operations, housekeeping, and room service. They will also be responsible for monitoring and optimizing online booking platforms, ensuring up-to-date availability, and delivering prompt responses to guest inquiries.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of motel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, and reservations. They will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience managing motels or similar establishments and be familiar with industry regulations, including health and safety, liquor, and gaming laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise all facets of reservations, front desk operations, housekeeping, and room service
  • Monitor and optimize online booking platforms to ensure up-to-date availability
  • Deliver prompt responses to guest inquiries to enhance the booking experience
  • Organize and direct day-to-day motel functions, including guest accommodations, meals, and additional services
  • Coordinate bar, restaurant, event, and conference activities
  • Ensure compliance with liquor, gaming, and local regulations
  • Manage accounting, purchasing, and financial operations
  • Provide local tourism information and assist with travel or tour arrangements for guests
  • Collaborate with local businesses and tourism operators to offer exclusive packages or experiences for guests
  • Supervise security measures, property maintenance, and grounds keeping
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and feedback
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining high standards of property upkeep
Requirements
  • Solid understanding of motel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, and reservations
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing motels or similar establishments
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, including health and safety, liquor, and gaming laws
  • Minimum bachelor level qualification
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and address operational challenges effectively
What We Offer
