About the Role

This is a key position in our accounts receivable team, responsible for collecting payments from clients and ensuring our financial systems are up-to-date.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Timely review of debtor accounts to identify and resolve payment issues
  2. Prepare and send statements of outstanding invoices to clients
  3. Follow up on collections and ensure arrears positions are aligned with our systems
  4. Process incoming correspondence and maintain accurate records
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to achieve departmental objectives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  2. Previous experience in a collection or receivable role
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  4. Effective communication and negotiation skills
