About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and resourceful Support Worker to join our team at Uniting Home Care. As a Support Worker, you will provide care and companionship to older people living in their own homes, helping to empower their independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide light housekeeping and domestic assistance to clients in their homes
  • Assist with meal preparation, transportation, and social support
  • Help clients with daily tasks and activities to promote independence
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
Requirements
  • Previous experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in aged care
  • Empathetic and resourceful with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Provisional or full Australian driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
