Key Treasury Role

This is a vital position in the Finance team, responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of treasury and general ledger transactions.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee daily treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, TCorp transactions, and intra-day bank monitoring to ensure seamless financial management.
  2. Provide expert analysis in modelling historical cash inflows and outflows, and forecasting future cash inflows and outflows to inform strategic decisions.
  3. Contribute to establishing and implementing effective Treasury process improvements for more accurate forecasting and timely reporting.
  4. Prepare detailed reconciliations and review general ledger account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
  5. Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual cash flow reports, audit work papers, and financial statements to facilitate informed decision-making.
  6. Offer system and process improvement suggestions, including user acceptance testing, service ticket management, and disaster recovery testing to enhance overall efficiency.
About You:
  1. Demonstrate expertise in cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and handling investment and borrowing activities with a proven track record of success.
  2. Exhibit strong analytical skills with a history of implementing process and reporting improvements that drive business growth.
  3. Display advanced technical capability in general ledger reconciliations, financial reporting, and resolving complex accounting issues with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  4. Show sound knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and asset management systems with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively.
  5. Hold a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a relevant field with a strong background in finance and treasury.
