Treasury Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in managing the company's cash flow, financial risk management, and ensuring efficient liquidity.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Cash Flow Management: Ensure optimal utilization of funds, including funding and repatriation to and from various markets. Develop accurate cash flow forecasts and manage cross-border intercompany loan positions and repayments.
  • Financial Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential impacts on financial performance. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to financial risk management and negotiate FX trades with foreign currency trading platforms.
  • Banking Relationship Management: Build and maintain effective relationships with banking partners and optimize banking services to achieve cost efficiencies. Negotiate banking terms and conditions, fees, and pricing.
  • Treasury Operations: Prepare bank account openings, closings, and signatory updates. Act as a business partner to internal stakeholders and propose initiatives to further optimize treasury processes and systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. An MBA or CTP certification would be advantageous.
  • Experience in treasury management or related financial roles in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Korea.
  • Strong knowledge of treasury operations, cash management, financial risk management, and banking specific to these markets.
  • Curious and problem-solving skills to manage projects and draw actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
