We are seeking a strategic and experienced State Manager to lead our Queensland operations, shaping the future of security services in the state.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader who can drive operational performance, service delivery, and regional growth. As State Manager – QLD, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, collaborating closely with national leaders, and ensuring we remain ahead of the curve in client experience and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end QLD operations, ensuring compliance, profitability, and service excellence
- Inspire, mentor, and manage a diverse team, including recruitment, training, and succession planning
- Build trust and rapport with key clients, law enforcement, and subcontractors
- Contribute to national business development, tender submissions, and future-proofing operations
- Oversee rosters, payroll, leave balances, audits, and asset management
- Ensure timely escalation and uphold our strong safety culture
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in a senior operational or state management role (ideally in security or facilities)
- Proven ability to manage large teams and drive service excellence across multi-site contracts
- Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Business development experience with a focus on quality outcomes
- A valid QLD Security License and relevant qualifications
