Job Overview

This role is an Identified Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander Position. As a passionate clinician, you will deliver therapeutic and case management services to Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal individuals across all ages.

You will provide cultural consultation to clients, communities, and professionals, working collaboratively within a tight-knit team to promote integrity, inclusivity, and meaningful connection.

The successful candidate will contribute to service delivery design to ensure people are seen, heard, and supported, engaging in tailored professional development, clinical supervision, and cultural guidance to support growth.

Eligible qualifications include Social Work, Counselling, or Psychology degrees, with relevant senior/advanced status as applicable.

  • Experience providing culturally appropriate trauma-focused therapeutic supports for Aboriginal individuals and families on sensitive issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create Aboriginal community connections, engagement, and collaborations.
  • Understanding of intergenerational trauma, colonisation, sexual assault, domestic violence, and child protection issues.
  • Ability to work as part of a therapeutic team and manage competing tasks in a busy service.
