Section Wait Staff Job Description

The Meat & Wine Co is seeking a Section Wait Staff to join the team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all customers receive attentive and friendly service
  • Prepare tables for service, including setting up table settings and ensuring menus are readily available
  • Take orders and serve food and beverages in a timely manner
  • Manage cash handling and point-of-sale systems efficiently
  • Work effectively as part of a team to maintain high standards of service
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar hospitality role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures
  • A valid RSA certificate
