**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a creative and visionary leader to shape the future of our children's and family slate.

As Commissioning Editor, you will be responsible for managing the development and production of scripted drama, comedy, and factual programs that are original, diverse, and loved by audiences across Australia. You will spot and nurture fresh ideas, provide strong editorial guidance, and collaborate with producers, funding bodies, and creative partners to bring bold stories to life.

You will have the chance to work across a wide range of projects, ensuring they meet high standards while also capturing the imagination of young audiences.

We are looking for someone who is creative, decisive, and versatile, with proven experience commissioning and producing children's content. You should have strong editorial judgment and a deep understanding of local and international trends in children's and family programming.

With your strong networks and knowledge of the production and funding landscape, you will be able to maintain and build lasting creative partnerships both in Australia and internationally.
