Transport Planning Leadership Role

The ideal candidate will have expertise in leading teams, providing strategic guidance, and delivering projects efficiently. At our organization, we strive to provide innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of transport planners, ensuring alignment with company strategy and initiatives.
  • Advocate for the business both internally and externally, fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Day-to-Day Tasks Would Involve:
  • Leadership and Team Development: Set clear goals with team members, conduct regular check-ins, and track progress.
  • Technical Expertise and Project Execution: Maintain high technical standards in Transport Planning, lead project management activities, and oversee project delivery.
  • Business Development and Client Relationship Management: Initiate business opportunities, establish strong client relationships, and review proposals.
  • Operational and Performance Management: Monitor and report on team performance, contribute to annual business plans, and ensure optimal team utilization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or planning (or equivalent technical qualification).
  • Minimum 8 years of transport planning experience in public or private consulting environments.
  • Strong people management, business development, project delivery, and business management skills.
  • Highly developed consulting skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
