About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Patient Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our administrative support staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring seamless clinic operations.

  • Provide administrative support to clients and staff in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient care and comfort.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients and referring doctors, both face-to-face and over the phone, providing timely and accurate information.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient clinic operations, promoting a positive image of the organization and fostering good community relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Administration team to manage bookings, referrals, and relevant paperwork, ensuring all systems are used effectively.

  • Billing and receipting at time of appointment, accurately processing related paperwork and data entry.

  • Adapt to changing priorities and environments, maintaining a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to work in an administrative role within a busy, customer-focused environment, preferably in a medical setting.

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and proven experience working independently and in a team environment.

  • A collaborative approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to use clinical administration systems and Microsoft Office software.
