Mobile Maintenance Specialist

The Underground Auto Electrician is a crucial position in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our fleet, working in both breakdown and planned maintenance capacity. Main Responsibilities:- Complete allocated maintenance tasks and carry out breakdowns and diagnosis to a high standard, while working safely both independently and as part of a team
- Follow documented maintenance procedures and instructions
- Operate mobile equipment, light vehicles, and ancillary equipment
- Undertake housekeeping and inspections
- Participate in prestarts and other operational meetings as required
- Undertake training as required to gain new skills
- Experience working in a maintenance team will be highly desirable
- Forklift certification highly desired, or willingness to obtain
- Experience working on Underground Mobile Equipment including Sandvik, Caterpillar, Normet, Volvo, and Epiroc
- Previous mining experience is essential, with Underground experience highly desirable
- Able to demonstrate knowledge in safe work practices
- Great communication and time management skills
- Demonstrated team player
- Basic computer skills
- Will to work in multiple environments including surface and underground Workshops and between multiple work locations and sites
