Job Title: Underground Auto Electrician

About the Role:

The primary objective of this position is to maintain the efficiency and reliability of our fleet by working in both breakdown and planned maintenance capacities.

This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete allocated maintenance tasks, diagnose issues, and operate mobile equipment, light vehicles, and ancillary equipment.

A key function of this role is to undertake housekeeping and inspections, participate in prestarts and other operational meetings, and undertake training as required to gain new skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a maintenance team will be highly desirable.
  • Forklift HRWL desirable, or willingness to obtain.
  • Previous mining experience is essential, with underground experience desirable.
  • Ability to demonstrate a knowledge in safe work practices.
  • Great communication and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated team player.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Willingness to work in multiple environments including surface and underground workshops and between multiple work locations and sites.
