Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow in Statistics to join our team at the Australian National University.

Research Context

The successful candidate will work closely with Professor Alan Welsh and other investigators on an Australian Research Council-funded project titled "Reliable and accurate statistical solutions for modern complex data". The research will focus on robust statistical estimation, feature selection, model averaging, mixed-effects modelling, distributional regression, and stable prediction and inference under error-prone data conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct advanced research in statistics and collaborate with senior researchers.
  • Develop and implement novel statistical methods and algorithms.
  • Communicate research findings through publications and presentations.
