Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and innovative professional to join our team on a casual basis. This role will assist individuals and school leavers to achieve their employment goals and social inclusion under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) through one-to-one servicing with a focus on building capacity towards employment.

  • Establish strong relationships with participants at various stages of their employment journey.
  • Provide a positive and supportive environment for people with disability to help them reach their goals of finding and sustaining employment.
  • Create individual support plans and 12-week plans that outline the participants' journey towards finding and keeping a job.
  • Develop opportunities for individuals to reach their full potential as valued members of their community in line with their NDIS goals, including work experience activities.
  • Facilitate individual and group activities using various enabling styles, including job readiness skills, volunteering/work experience, and confidence building.
  • Ensure efficiency and compliance with administrative processes in line with organisational policies, procedures, legislative requirements, and guidelines from the National Disability Insurance Agency.
  • Maintain data integrity and efficiently manage workload by prioritising tasks and ensuring all work is completed within designated time frames.
