Key Responsibilities:- Establish a professional relationship with participants at different stages of their employment journey.
- Provide a supportive environment that enables individuals with disabilities to reach their employment goals.
- Create individual support plans and 12-week plans outlining the participant's journey towards finding and sustaining employment.
- Identify opportunities that enable individuals to reach their potential as valued community members, aligned with their NDIS goals.
- Facilitate individual and group activities using various enabling styles, including job readiness skills, volunteering/work experience, and confidence building.
- Ensure administrative processes are efficient and compliant with organisational policies, procedures, legislative requirements, and guidelines from the National Disability Insurance Agency.
- Maintain data integrity and efficiently manage workload, prioritising tasks and ensuring all work is completed within designated time frames.
To succeed in this role, you should have the ability to work autonomously, be self-motivated, proactive, resilient, and patient when working with complex behaviours.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
- A reliable vehicle with current comprehensive car insurance.
- Experience in providing vocational support to individuals with disabilities, delivering services that enable them to build capacity and work towards meeting their employment goals.
- Facilitation skills for individual and group educational activities.
- High-level customer service skills and stakeholder engagement abilities.
