About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating and independence.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a much-needed break and promoting overall well-being.
  • Provide social support and transport to appointments, ensuring our customers can access essential services and maintain their independence.
  • Work with customers who have complex care needs, including dementia, to provide tailored support and promote their quality of life.

Requirements
  • 6+ months of experience in a support worker role, including personal care.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, with a willingness to ask for help when needed.
