Adelaide Festival Centre is seeking a skilled Programming Coordinator to play a key role in the delivery of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival. The successful candidate will have a passion for working in the arts industry and experience in festival or event management. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing schedules, systems and operating procedures to ensure the effective delivery of the festival. The role is also integral to the delivery of the Class of Cabaret program, a SACE accredited program for high school students with performance outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar environment, strong project coordination skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work within budgets. Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement schedules, systems and operating procedures to ensure the effective delivery of the festival.
  2. Coordinate the delivery of the Class of Cabaret program, including creating and maintaining databases, artist itineraries, artist rehearsal schedules and travel and accommodation.
  3. Work closely with the Head of Programming - Commercial to ensure the successful delivery of the festival.
Requirements:
  • Experience in festival or event management.
  • Strong project coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work within budgets.
