This is an exciting opportunity to join Cohealth's multidisciplinary team as a Clinical Psychologist, specializing in the Chronic Pain Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering and evaluating a comprehensive pain management program in the primary care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement a Chronic Pain Service, focusing on optimizing pain treatments, improving function, and promoting self-management.
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments and participate in coordinated care planning and treatment to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Facilitate and deliver content in the pain education group program, 'Living Well With Pain', to empower patients with the skills and knowledge needed to manage their chronic pain.
- Provide individual psychology consultations for patients referred to the chronic pain program, addressing their unique needs and concerns.

- Master or Doctorate of Psychology (clinical or health) as accredited by the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Psychology Board of Australia).
- Endorsement as a Clinical or Health Psychologist with AHPRA or willingness to engage in the registrar supervision program to achieve endorsement.
- Experience and interest in the field of Psychology in relation to chronic health conditions, including chronic pain, and at least two years of professional experience in a clinical setting as a Psychologist.
