Senior Lecturer in Psychology

The Senior Lecturer in Psychology will contribute to teaching and research within the Psychology Discipline at Victoria University. This is a full-time continuing position at an Academic C classification with a competitive salary range.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement high-quality teaching materials and practices.
- Contribute to the student experience in programs as required, including course convening, unit convening, and industry relationships.
- Participate in professional development activities and undertake scholarly review of teaching methods and practices.
- Identify, assess, prioritize, and control risks to the health and safety of staff, students, visitors, and contractors.
You will be expected to hold a PhD in Psychology and have experience teaching at the tertiary level. A demonstrated record of peer-reviewed publications and/or successful funding at the national or international level is also required. Expertise in one of the following areas of teaching and/or practice is desired: Counselling Psychology, Health Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Personality, Social Psychology, Relationships. Registration as a psychologist with endorsement in an area of practice (or pathway towards endorsement) is also desired.
