Apprenticeship Program Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and elevate our training division as an exceptional Apprenticeship Program Manager.

You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring frontline leaders and supervisors, overseeing and improving our nationally recognized apprenticeship program, and ensuring skills capability, compliance, and long-term workforce development.

This high-impact, strategic role has influence across the business, supported by executive leadership and backed by significant resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a large-scale, multi-discipline apprenticeship program.
  • Develop and implement a structured apprentice progression framework.
  • Coach and train supervisors and managers to be effective leaders and mentors.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and design targeted upskilling programs.
  • Coordinate government-funded training initiatives and ensure compliance.
  • Engage with schools, TAFEs, and industry to recruit and promote talent.
  • Align workforce capability with the business strategy using skills matrix planning.

Requirements:

  • Formal qualifications in Leadership, Training & Assessment, or Human Resources.
  • Industry experience in engineering, mechanical trades, or industrial operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large workforce development programs.
  • Strong background in coaching supervisors and operational leaders.
  • Ability to map skills needs and design capability-building solutions, possess a confident, collaborative leadership style with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
