We are seeking a dynamic creative and career-focused Executive Culinary Lead to lead our kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of food items in accordance with recipes and use personal judgment to modify them as needed.
  • Slightly modify recipes to meet customer needs and requests, such as allergies or reducing seasoning.
  • Contribute to menu development by creating innovative food ideas.
  • Work with the kitchen team to create a modern, well-balanced, and profitable menu that meets the target market's demands.
  • Adhere to standard service procedures.
  • Provide efficient and professional service to customers.
  • Ensure ordering procedures are followed.
  • Monitor all food deliveries for quality, quantity, freshness, and accuracy, rejecting any items that do not meet the agreed-upon standards.
  • Maintain proper food storage and stock rotation.
  • Maintain high productivity and good staff morale within the kitchen team.
  • Adhere to occupational health and safety guidelines outlined in the induction manual and other policies.
  • Ensure the use of appropriate equipment and clothing designed to protect staff safety and prevent accidents.
  • Follow stock control, stock rotation, shelf life criteria, and food safety plans.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire the kitchen team. They should be knowledgeable about food preparation, presentation, and safety, as well as familiar with menu planning and inventory management.

What We Offer

An estimated annual salary of AU$65,000 - AU$80,000 depending on experience, plus benefits including:
