About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team in Bathurst. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Domestic Assistance: Cleaning the home of older people to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment
  • Assisting with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating habits
  • Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities to enhance our customers' quality of life

What We Look for in a Care Worker:

  • You have a genuine passion for assisting our aged community and promoting their independence
  • You hold a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle; travel is an essential part of the role
  • You are able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, prioritizing the needs of our customers
  • You are available to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday; no night or weekend work is required
  • You are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to seek support from your Manager
