About the Role

We are looking for dedicated, client-focused Speech Pathologists to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for providing assessment and intervention to clients with communication and swallowing difficulties, helping them achieve and maintain optimal independence and quality of life.

  • Provide comprehensive assessments and interventions to help clients overcome communication and swallowing challenges.
  • Train carers on effective communication techniques and work with assistants and other professionals to deliver effective therapeutic outcomes.
  • Develop personalized augmentative and alternative communication systems tailored to individual clients' needs.
  • Design and implement swallowing intervention and mealtime plans, training carers on effective mealtime management support.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
  • Certified Practicing Speech Pathology Australia membership
  • Knowledge of functional communication and swallowing assessments, interventions, and outcome measures
  • NDIS experience and understanding is preferable but not essential
  • A passion for assisting clients to reach their full potential
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Current driver's licence and registered vehicle
