About the Role

Anton Murray Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Treasury Operations Team Leader to join their Sydney-based team.

The successful candidate will lead a small Treasury Operations team and provide back-office administration, processing, settlement, reporting, and supporting services to the Treasury Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage ISDA and Swaps Agreements.
  • Verify and authenticate documentation related to funding facilities and financial instruments.
  • Prepare monthly reports on borrowings, including Swaps, ECP, EMTN, Break Date, and M-T-M Revaluation.
  • Review and prepare daily cash flow forecasts for Treasury and Reserve accounts, verify daily transactions, confirmation, and settlement letters against Daily Deal Worksheets and system entries.
  • Administer remittances and receipts of funds in relation to all funding activities and investments.
  • Ensure timely payment of all Treasury transactions.
  • Monitor incoming funds for receipt of outstanding loan repayment and fees.
  • Liaise with local and offshore counterparties and Agencies regarding transaction settlement and investigate outstanding payments and confirmations.
  • Implement internal controls, review and maintain procedure manuals in line with operational changes.
  • Supervise and mentor Treasury Administration team members, set goals for achievement, and further development.
About You

We are looking for an individual with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Economics, or equivalent.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Leadership, coaching, and development of direct reports.
  • Extensive knowledge and ideally 5-10 years of experience in financial institutions, particularly in Treasury middle and back-office areas.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take accountability.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, spreadsheets, and databases.
