The Senior Manager Treasury – Funding role is responsible for providing leadership and assisting in the planning, management, execution, monitoring and stakeholder management of funding activities.

This position requires a strong understanding of debt and equity markets, as well as experience in loan financing and/or debt capital markets. The successful candidate will also have experience in leading projects with an understanding of all funding plans and balance sheet stress testing.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in treasury management, with particular experience in Corporate and/or Banking sectors. Additionally, they should have expertise in funding transactions and M&A, preferably in infrastructure.

In this role, you will contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist the execution of select funding tasks in accordance with the Funding Plan
  • Ensure funding tasks are undertaken in compliance with the Treasury Policy
  • Be involved in Group development projects, including deal execution and analysis of proposed funding and structural solutions
  • Access the impacts on credit metrics and ratings targets
  • Lead components of the Group's Capital Strategy development and management, with the preparation of the debt and equity funding plans

Key Requirements:

  • Proven Treasury management experience, ideally within Corporate and/or Banking, with particular experience in loan financing and/or debt capital markets
  • Experienced Corporate Finance managers with exposure to funding transactions and M&A, preferably in infrastructure
  • Understanding of debt and equity markets, and risks associated with financing activities
  • Leading projects with an understanding of all funding plans and balance sheet stress testing
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel skills with a good understanding of modelling, with knowledge of interest coverage ratios & cash flow analysis
  • Relevant tertiary education and professional qualifications

  • A salary of AU$150,000 - AU$200,000 per annum, depending on experience
