In this exciting role, you'll be part of our treasury operations team, working closely with the Treasury Operations Manager to identify, manage and report on treasury risks and procedures.

The key objective of this position is to provide critical support in ensuring the effective management of treasury operations, ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and TPG Treasury Policy.

**Responsibilities Include:**

  • Reviewing and processing AP payment batches, collaborating with the AP team to ensure seamless payment completion.
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly treasury accounting journals, guaranteeing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Reviewing and approving cash and treasury balance sheet reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies with the treasury back office and other business units.
  • Updating daily cash flows and balance sheet forecast models, contributing to the preparation of yearly and long-range cash flow forecasts.
  • Coordinating loan schedule updates, ensuring timely loan and interest payments.
  • Prepared and providing commentary on monthly interest/FX reports, offering valuable insights to stakeholders.
  • Working closely with commercial managers to understand key drivers of forecast receipts, payments, and significant cash flow issues.
  • Improving the accuracy of the cash forecast model, collaborating with various teams to develop a deeper understanding of cash drivers and their link to business processes.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly cash flow statements and commentary.
  • Preparing quarterly treasury reports and ad-hoc reports, delivering actionable insights.
  • Developing annual interest budgets and quarterly full-year forecasts, ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Reviewing semi-annual financial covenant calculations, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance.
  • Providing essential support to the Governance team in preparing annual and semi-annual statutory financial statements.
  • Treasury administration, encompassing accrual schedules, AP releases, FX settlements, and day-to-day transactional banking responsibilities.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • A qualified accountant with 3+ years of experience post-CPA/CA.
  • Strong Excel, modelling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze results, identify trends, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Knowledge of Oracle systems and ANZ Transactive beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and accounting issues related to corporate treasury advantageous.
