Employment Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Employment Specialist to join our team. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their employment goals.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one coaching sessions to participants, assessing their career needs and creating personalized action plans.
  • Conduct career assessments and help clients identify their strengths, interests, and values to guide their employment goals.
  • Use sales strategies to work collaboratively with community organizations to create opportunities for participants.
  • Assist participants in developing effective job search strategies, including resume writing and interview preparation.
  • Refer participants through training, counseling, and other services to increase long-term employment outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance requirements are met.
Requirements:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service, client-facing or administrative roles.
  • Time management, organizational skills, and the ability to plan and prioritize to achieve outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills with well-developed verbal and written skills, and the ability to conduct client assessments, develop case plans, and maintain accurate records.
  • Interpersonal conflict resolution and negotiation skills, along with the ability to identify innovative solutions to problems.
  • Ability to develop relationships with employers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Excellent computer skills.
