Data Governance Specialist

A key role has become available to improve data maturity across health insurance data teams.
The successful candidate will be a collaborative, value-driven individual who deeply understands complex technical environments and toolsets available to achieve outcomes with data.
The Data Governance Lead will be accountable for conducting data quality assessments, auditing risk and governance controls, and developing Governance KPIs to improve data quality, accuracy, and literacy throughout the Health Insurance Business Unit.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing data governance best practices across HI Data Teams
- Ensuring stakeholders have a consistent experience with data and reporting
- Managing information assets, ensuring they are accurately stored and maintained within systems
To succeed in this role, you will require 5+ years of experience in working on complex information projects and programs of work, proven experience in building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and expertise in technical stack including SQL, SAS, Power BI, ADB.
