Job Title

A systems administrator role at a leading organization requires a skilled professional to manage and maintain its complex technological environment.

About the Role
  • Prioritize, diagnose, and resolve issues related to incidents in a complex IT environment.
  • Contribute to infrastructure maintenance, installation, and monitoring. Report on performance to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Identify and assess emerging software technologies, products, methods, techniques, and services, and brief staff and management accordingly.
  • Assist in introducing new technologies, methodologies, tools, and services to meet current and future business needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors, other business units, and management to enhance data centre management.
  • Document storage and server environments, and develop procedures and support materials for data centre operations.
Key Requirements
  • Tech/Op/Educational experience:
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in enterprise environments, including Windows OS and VMware.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience with enterprise-grade hardware: servers, NAS/SAN, HCI infrastructure.
    • Exceptional customer service skills.
Desirable Skills
  • Scripting (PowerShell)
  • Cloud hosting operations support (Azure, AWS)
  • Strong understanding of the IT& T industry, as well as technology trends and related practices
  • ITIL v3/v4 qualification.
  • Basic network experience – administration – basic switches, router, and firewalls (Cisco is nice to have).
