Job Description:

Key accountabilities include developing a cyber security strategy and other identified technology infrastructure strategies. You will contribute to the development of the overarching technology strategy and supporting roadmap. Staying informed on industry trends and developments, you will take steps to incrementally increase maturity levels.

Key responsibilities also involve identifying and leading improvements to policies, processes, and systems, working with internal and external stakeholders to improve operational capability and service delivery. This includes facilitating and leading new functionality and enhancements to core technology infrastructure to support improved customer and user experience.

Another key responsibility is developing and driving the delivery of the Cyber Security Strategy and Plan. This involves reviewing identified security risks and breaches to ensure the organisation's assets and information are appropriately secured at all times.

Additionally, you will implement service management capabilities based on ITIL best practice. Establishing and maturing a regional support capability for ICT infrastructure services is also a key part of this role.

Strong relationships with staff and senior stakeholders are essential for influencing change. Building strong relationships with third party vendors is also crucial for effectively and efficiently managing issues. Escalating with vendors as required, where service levels are not met, is necessary for facilitating outcomes for end users and improving vendor delivery capability.

Lastly, you will lead and develop the plan to maintain technology resiliency of critical systems and infrastructure to support business operations in the event of a disruption. Ensuring that annual Disaster Recovery and Penetration Testing are performed and that follow up actions from testing activities are tracked and completed is also an important responsibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, management or a business-related discipline would be highly regarded.
